Are your Mounjaro side effects escalating?
The gradual dose increase of Mounjaro means that there should be very little increase in side effects. As your body adjusts to the new dose, you may experience some mild increase in side effects, but this should be temporary.
As with all medicines, you may experience side effects with Mounjaro. The most common side effects of Mounjaro are nausea and diarrhoea. These side effects are usually only mild to moderate and decrease over time in most patients. They are most common when first starting Mounjaro or when the dose is increased.
Please refer to the Consumer Medicine Information (CMI) leaflet that came with your Mounjaro for a full list of side effects that may occur.
Tips for managing nausea
To help relieve nausea, try eating smaller meals, eating slowly, and avoiding fried or fatty foods.
If your nausea is severe or persists, consult your doctor or speak with your TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacist for advice.
