TerryWhite Chemmart offers home delivery services for orders placed online through our website and app. The terms and conditions set out on this webpage (including the FAQs) will apply if you select home delivery as an option when checking out.

We understand that getting your orders as quickly as possible is of utmost importance. That is why your Preferred Pharmacy will endeavour to dispatch an accepted order within the following timeframes:


Click & Collect

Within 2 hours of acceptance of your order. All Click & Collect orders are free of charge and must be collected at your Preferred Pharmacy.  For more information on Click & Collect see details here.

Standard delivery

Within 2-4 business days of acceptance of your order. All accepted orders for Standard delivery can be delivered from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) provided your preferred pharmacy is opened.

Please allow at least 2 business days from acceptance of your order for it to arrive before contacting your preferred pharmacy. Some restrictions apply. See the FAQ below for further details.

Express delivery

Within 1-2 business days of acceptance of your order. All accepted orders for express delivery can be delivered from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) provided your preferred pharmacy is opened.

Please allow at least 1 business day from acceptance of your order for it to arrive before contacting your preferred pharmacy. Some restrictions apply. See the FAQ below for further details.

Same day delivery

Orders accepted by 11am are eligible for same day delivery. All accepted orders for same day delivery can be delivered Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), provided your preferred pharmacy is open.

Distance limits apply.

Fast delivery

Within 2 hours of acceptance of your order. All accepted orders for Fast delivery can be dispatched from Monday to Sunday (incl public holidays except Good Friday and Christmas) provided your preferred pharmacy is opened.

Your order must also be accepted at least 2 hours before your preferred pharmacy’s closing time. Some restrictions apply. See the FAQ for further information.

No refund of the delivery fees is provided if you cancel your order after the delivery driver has been dispatched, or if there is no-one to receive it, or if you provide an incorrect address, or if you are unable to provide valid photo identification to the driver. 

A further charge of $15 will apply for failed deliveries returned to the pharmacy.

Delivery times

Delivery timeframes are reliant on a number of factors and may vary depending on where you live or other circumstances that may physically constrain, restrict or impede regular deliver of products. If your preferred pharmacy becomes aware of delays with delivery of your order they will contact you.

FAQs

Are home delivery services available from all TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacies?

Home delivery is available only at selected TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacies. 

If these services are available, you will be presented with possible options for you to choose at checkout. However, if the service is not available for your order, you will not be able to select the option.

How does Fast Delivery work? 

Place your order via our App or TWC Website:

  • Add your products to cart and proceed to the checkout.
  • At the checkout, you will be able to select from three potential delivery methods Click & Collect, Standard Delivery and Fast Delivery. Choose Fast Delivery (if Fast Delivery is not an option, please refer to restrictions for reasons why and select alternative methods)
  • Once payment is completed, you will be able to track your order in real time at every stage via our app or TWC Website.

Order is picked:

Staff at your nominated pharmacy will pick your order. Depending on your cart you may receive a call from your pharmacist to discuss your medication or out of stocks prior to completing and ACCEPTING your order. 

 

Order is dispatched:

When the order has been accepted, picked and securely packed, it is ready for dispatched.  A driver will be notified to pick up your order and delivery it directly to your nominated address.

 

Order is delivered: 

Your order will be delivered to your nominated address and you will need to sign and provide identification – we are unable to leave your order unattended.
If the driver is unable to locate you, they will ring your mobile number (which is masked and not visible to the driver).  If you are not home at the time of delivery, your order will be returned to the pharmacy it was sent from.
If this occurs, you may NOT be eligible for a refund of the original delivery fees and be charged again for the return.

 

Are there any RESTRICTIONS?

Restrictions for Fast Delivery

The below restrictions may apply and you will not be able to select Fast Delivery as a delivery option at checkout.

  • Only available for delivery addresses within <=5km of a participating pharmacy.
  • Fast Delivery is not an option 2 hours prior to pharmacy closing time.
  • Will not be delivering cold chain (refrigerated products).
  • Certain medication cannot be delivered via Fast Delivery, your pharmacist will call you if you have these medications in your cart.
  • If the items are greater than 22kg and total order length of 120cm they cannot be delivered via Fast Delivery.

Restrictions for Standard Delivery

The below restrictions may apply and you will not be able to select Standard Delivery as a delivery option at checkout

  • Only available for delivery addresses within 0 – 15km of a participating pharmacy.
  • Certain medication cannot be delivered via Standard Delivery, your pharmacist will call you if you have these medications in your cart.

Is Fast Delivery Free?

No, delivery fees will apply to all Fast Delivery orders placed outside of ‘Fast Free Delivery’ promotion periods.

Is Standard Delivery Free?

No, delivery fees will apply to all Standard Delivery orders unless the cart reaches $99 (including GST).

Why do I have to verify my identity with Fast Delivery?

Fast delivery is done via our delivery partner. Drivers are required to verify identity to ensure any pharmaceutical orders are provided to the authorised person.

Is there an option to change my Fast Delivery to Click & Collect?

You will NOT be able to change your order preference to Click & Collect if you have chosen Fast Delivery. In the event of a failed delivery, the order will be returned to the store and you can collect in person.

NOTE: No refund for delivery fees and further charges will apply for the return.

What happens if no one is home when the order is delivered?

The order will be returned to the pharmacy it was picked from. You will then need to contact the pharmacy to organise a new delivery time or to pick it up in-store.

NOTE: There will be no refund on the original delivery fee and an additional delivery fee will apply if the order is returned to the pharmacy.

What are the order cut-off times for Fast Delivery?

Fast Delivery is not an option 2 hours prior to pharmacy closing time.

Can I track my order status?

Yes, you will be able to track your order from the time you place the order, during the packing process and up until it’s delivered at your door.

How much does delivery cost?

ORDERS OVER $99

We will deliver your order for FREE using Standard Delivery, if your online order is over $99 (inclusive of GST), and your delivery address is supported by your selected Pharmacy.

  • Standard Delivery - 0 to 5km  - FREE
  • Standard Delivery - >5km to 15km  - FREE
  • Standard Delivery - >15km from your Selected Pharmacy – Cost to be quoted 
  • Fast Delivery - 0 to 5km  - $14.99

ORDERS UNDER $99

For orders less than $99 (inclusive of GST), deliveries will be charged at the following rates, provided your delivery address is supported by your selected Pharmacy:

  • Standard Delivery -> 0 to 5km  - $9.95
  • Standard Delivery ->5km to 15km  - $15.00
  • Standard Delivery ->15km from your Selected Pharmacy – Cost to be quoted 
  • Fast Delivery - 0 to 5km  - $14.99

We do not ship to international addresses or PO Boxes.

What hygiene factors are there in place to minimise the potential for infection from drivers / products being delivered during COVID-19?

Our drivers practice hand hygiene and social distancing in line with appropriate infection control.

How do I return products delivered that may be wrong or are not suitable?

At the moment, to limit the potential spread of Covid-19, we are not offering exchange or refund for change of mind.

If there is an issue or a fault with the products or medicine you received, please call your local TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacy.

How do I order a repeat script to be collected?

There are number of ways to book click & collect or delivery of your prescription. The easiest way is via our app - you can order scripts you've left on file at the pharmacy or upload new eScripts by clicking on the link in your eScript SMS.

Alternatively you can contact your local TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacy by phone, email or fax to organise delivery.

There are a number of ways to book a home delivery of your for your health essentials.

The easiest way is via the app where you can order from a select group of common pharmacy products, pay for them and get them delivered to your home.

Some pharmacies may accept phone orders for non-prescription items - check with your local TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacy for details.

What if I have any queries about my medication?

Your pharmacist is always available to discuss your medication. Just like when you come into the pharmacy, when you order items from our app the pharmacist will contact you if they need to discuss your medication with you.

Can I send my order and credit card details for payment by fax or email?

We do not accept credit card details via fax or email for security reasons, please use our app or give your local TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacy a call, we’ll always find a way.
