Viscotears eye gel is used as a substitute for tears fluid in the treatment of dry eye conditions and for unstable tear film.
VISCOTEARS eye gel is a translucent, clear, viscous gel which can beadministered in the form of drops. After instillation, it spreads rapidly overthe surface of the dry eye condition (the conjunctiva and cornea), forming a protectivefilm for a prolonged time. gPlease wash your hands before use. Tilt your head back and look upward. Hold the tube in an upright position above your eye with one hand, while gently pulling down the lower eyelid with the other hand. Holding thetube vertically will result in the formation of a small drop which readilybecomes detached from the tube opening. Squeeze the tube and instill one drop into the lower part of the eye (theconjunctival sac). Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the dropper. Thiswill avoid contamination of the drops. Close your eyes (do not rub) and then blink several times to distributethe drop over your eyeball. Repeat the application into the eyes 3-4 times daily or as often as required depending on the severity of your condition.
If you experience persistent discomfort or irritation, stop using the productand consult your doctor.Do not use with concurrent therapy of neurotrophic keratitis with Oxervate(cenegermin).
Store below 25°C.
