Nervoderm provides targeted relief of medically diagnosed post-shingles nerve pain including shooting, stabbing and burning pain.
Nervoderm is a clinically proven* medicated patch for relief of medically diagnosed post-shingles nerve pain (post-herpetic neuralgia, PHN). The active ingredient, lidocaine, continuously absorbs into the skin to target shooting, stabbing and burning nerve pain without causing numbness. The soothing hydrogel patch forms a protective barrier at the application site and helps protect skin that may be sensitive to touch, heat or cold. Easy to apply, Nervoderm can be worn for up to 12 hours, followed by 12 hours off, and may be used alone or alongside oral pain-relieving medicines. Step 1: Open the sachet, remove a patch, and seal the sachet again. Step 2: If required, cut the patch to fit the painful area. Step 3: Remove the transparent liner from the patch. Step 4: Apply the patch to the site of pain. Press onto the skin for at least 10 seconds to ensure it sticks firmly. Adult dose: apply up to a maximum of 3 patches at the same time to the site of pain. Patches can be left on for up to 12 hours, followed by 12 hours off and applied day or night. Usually, you will feel some pain relief on the first day you use the patch, but it may take up to 2-4 weeks until the full pain-relief effect of Nervoderm dermal patch is felt.

Do not use: - On children less than 18 years of age if the seal of the sachet is broken - Unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist - Do not apply to large areas of the body If pain persists, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. If skin irritation or burning occurs, discontinue use and seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist. Contains hydroxybenzoates as preservatives.
NERVODERM® Dermal Patches should be worn for no more than 12 hours per day. Applying the patches for a longer time or using more than 3 NERVODERM patches per day could cause serious reactions. Remember you should not use other products that contain lidocaine at the same time. Wait 12 hours after removing patches before applying new patches.
Store below 25°C. Used patches still contain active ingredient, which may be harmful to others. Fold the used patch in half, with the sticky side together and throw them away so that they are out of reach of children.
5% w/w lidocaine dermal patch. Each patch contains 700 mg lidocaine. Self-adhesive layer: Glycerol, sorbitol solution (70%) (crystallising), carmellose sodium, propylene glycol, urea, kaolin-heavy, tartaric acid, gelatin, polyvinyl alcohol, aluminium glycinate, disodium edetate, methyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate, polyacrylic acid, sodium polyacrylate, water-purified. Backing fabric: polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Release liner: polyethylene terephthalate.
