Hiprex is used for prevention or suppression of bacteriuria associated with chronic or recurrent urinary tract infection.

Adults and children over 12 years old: 1 tablet 2 times daily, or as directed by the healthcare professional. Not recommended for use in children under 12 years. May be taken with or without food Adults and children 12 years and older: 1 Tablet twice daily May be taken with or without food
Do not use if: • You are taking sulphonamides, acetazolamide or urinary alkalising agents. • You have gout, severe liver or kidney conditions, or are severely dehydrated. Tell your pharmacist or doctor before taking Hiprex if you are taking any other medicines, have any medical conditions, or use a catheter. See your doctor as soon as signs of urinary tract infection appear. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Keep bottle cap tightly sealed. Do not use if the seal is broken or the use by date has expired.
