Glucerna Powder Vanilla is a health shake formulated especially for the nutritional needs of people with diabetes or with impaired glucose tolerance. Glucerna formulation features a blend of ingredients designed to help support diabetes management including:1) Advanced slow-release carbohydrate system and 4 times higher inositol* to help manage blood glucose levels. 2) Complete and balanced nutrition with 28 essential vitamins and minerals to help meet the nutritional needs of people with diabetes.3) Healthy fat blend that includes monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) and plant-based omega-3 fatty acids, to help support a healthy heart. 4) Low Glycaemic Index formulation (GI = 35) Glucerna Powder is recommended as a meal, partial meal or snack used in conjunction with a diabetes management plan including diet and exercise. To prepare a 237 ml serving, pour 200 ml of cold water into a glass. Gradually add 5 scoops or 52.1 g of Glucerna Powder while stirring and mix until dissolved. Glucerna is best served chilled Opened can should be covered and stored in a cool, dry place, but not refrigerated. Once opened, use contents within 3 weeks. Prepared Glucerna should be used promptly or covered, refrigerated and used within 24 hours.
