Benzac AC is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate acne.

Treat acne affecting your face!
Benzac AC 10% with BPO works to reduce the appearance of acne.
Enriched with hydrating Glycerin, this targeted spot gel unblocks your pores and kills acne-causing bacteria while leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Acne Gel that is dermatologist tested.
Benzac AC sits in the ‘Treatment’ phase of your skincare routine.
As the second step in your three-step acne treatment routine, only use Benzac AC Mild Strength 10% Acne Gel on affected areas. Make sure you wash with a cleanser first, before patting your skin dry. Next, apply a thin film of gel – just once a day – and leave it for two hours.
Wash off well with water and pat dry, before applying a light moisturiser. If, after three days, you’ve felt no discomfort, apply in the evening and leave overnight before washing off. After seven days, if there’s no redness or peeling, and your condition has not improved, use twice daily, morning and night.

Acne treatment gel that kills up to 94% of the bacteria that causes acne*.
When using active ingredients to treat spots and acne, your skin barrier can become more sensitive. It is not recommended to use other skincare products that can have irritating or exfoliant effects at the same time.
Using the right cleansers and moisturisers alongside your treatment can help support your skin's tolerance to the treatment by helping maintain a balanced skin barrier, protecting and hydrating your skin.

Benzac AC treatments are powered by the active ingredient, Benzoyl Peroxide.
Benzoyl Peroxide has exfoliant and pore-unblocking properties, which help to reduce comedones: the technical dermatology name for blocked pores, A.K.A. blackheads and whiteheads.

Benzac AC Treatment products combine the Benzoyl Peroxide active with our Acrylates Copolymer technology, which helps absorb excess oil while delivering glycerine to help keep your skin hydrated.

Glycerin helps to minimise dryness that can be a result of treating acne prone skin.
