Beconase Allergy & Hayfever nasal spray can be used to treat and prevent hayfever (allergic rhinitis) and other airborne allergies in adults and children 12 years and over.
Beconase Allergy & Hayfever nasal spray contains a corticosteroid called beclometasone dipropionate which provides hayfever treatment and prevention.The nasal spray helps to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, itchy, runny nose and congested nose. It can protect you from major allergens such as pollen/grasses, dust mites, pet hair and mould spores.Reference: product label Effective relief and prevention of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (hayfever). Shake gently before use. Prime the bottle by spraying a few times into the air until a fine mist is produced. Follow the instructions in the enclosed leaflet for full directions on how to administer this nasal spray. • For treatment of hayfever symptoms in adults and children aged 12+: two sprays into each nostril, twice daily. For prevention of hayfever symptoms: Spray 2 sprays into each nostril twice daily for a few days before expected contact with the allergen/trigger. Once symptoms are controlled, protection can be maintained at half the dose: one spray into each nostril, twice daily. The dose may need to be increased if the symptoms worsen. • Do not use more than 2 sprays in each nostril twice daily (8 sprays).
For nasal use only. Contains phenylethyl alchohol and benzalkonium chloride as perservatives. Seek medical advice if: * you are pregnant or may become pregnant * are breastfeeding * are currently taking another steroid * suffer from nosebleeds * have recently had injury or surgery to your nose * do not experience symptom relief within 7 days * intend to use the product for more than 6 consecutive months
