Hay fever is the common name to describe allergic rhinitis, or allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, and involves a recurrent runny, stuffy, itchy nose, and frequent sneezing. It can also affect your eyes, sinuses, throat and ears.1,2 Like any other allergy, allergic rhinitis is an inappropriate immune system response to an allergen – most commonly house dust mites, pets, pollen and mould.1,2 About 20 per cent of the general population suffers from rhinitis.1

Urticaria is an itchy rash that can appear like welts, anywhere on the body. These welts come and go in a random manner and it can last from hours or days (acute) to months (chronic).4

Allertine is a non-drowsy antihistamine formulated with the unique bilastine molecule. Adults and Adolescents 12 years & over: 1 tablet daily. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water, on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals or fruit juices).

Do not take Allertine: · If you are allergic to bilastine or any other ingredients in this medicine · If you are under 12 years of age · Consult a doctor or pharmacist: · If you are breastfeeding, pregnant or likely to become pregnant · If symptoms persist or appear to worsen · If you experience any side effects that concern you. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date.
