What is resilience?
Becoming more resilient involves completely yielding to whatever circumstances may come your way. This involves accepting your situation for what it is instead of resisting it or using it as an excuse to justify your behaviour.
It means fully embracing it and working through it, as difficult as it may be, and letting go of trying to control the outcome.
Resilience is a dynamic process of achieving a positive adaptation (eg, maintaining a healthy body weight) despite exposure to considerable threats/ changes or adversity that will always be present in our lives.
