Here are the basics of how the National Immunisation Program (NIP) works
Infants and children – This group receives vaccinations at birth, 2, 4, 6, 12, and 18 months, and again at four years to protect against diseases like hepatitis B, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, and more.¹
Adolescents – As you grow older, the schedule includes vaccinations for human papillomavirus (HPV) and Meningococcal ACWY.¹
Adults – Vaccinations are recommended for those over 65, pregnant women, and individuals with specific medical conditions and help protect against influenza, pneumococcal disease, and whooping cough.¹
