It’s well-known that a range of vitamins are essential for our body’s health. But what about our skin? Get to know these 5 super skin vitamins.
 

VITAMIN A (Retinol)

  • plays an important role in cell growth1
  • may help with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles2
  • can help improve elasticity2
  • food sources include full-fat dairy, egg yolks and meat

 

VITAMIN B3 (Niacinamide)

  • may better hyperpigmentation and defend against dehydration3
  • its anti-inflammatory properties can reduce redness4
  • could help treat the effects of acne and eczema4
  • food sources include all protein-containing foods

 

VITAMIN C

  • plays a role in the production of collagen in the body and tissue growth and repair1
  • may help reduce the appearance of wrinkles5
  • a strong anti-antioxidant that helps protect from free radicals and heal damaged skin6

Vitamin D is created in the skin following exposure to sunlight. In Australia, limited, protected sun exposure is sufficient. Always protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun using a range of measures.
